This November, Loops comes to November Music in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the festival for adventurous music lovers that brings together forward-thinking makers and musicians from around the world. Loops is an open-air sound lab: five large illuminated aluminium rings, each driven by a heavy steel controller wheel. By turning the wheel, visitors change the speed and direction of a musical loop, while the rings respond with light animations that mirror the sound. No experience is needed: anyone can step up, play together and build a shared, ever-changing composition. Inspired by the tape-loop experiments of the 1950s and ’60s, Loops brings the building blocks of today’s electronic music into public space, where digital sound meets hand-operated control.

Come play from 20 to 29 November 2026.
