A nature park in the northern Waldviertel transforms into a magical place of wonder and discovery! The ninth edition of the light art festival Blockheide Leuchtet focuses specifically on the fascination with natural phenomena and the joy of experimenting with them.

Amidst the forests, meadows, ponds, and rock formations of the Blockheide, visitors are invited to embark on a quiet adventure: selected light art installations from around the world create a truly special atmosphere within the natural landscape. Numerous interactive installations encourage exploration and—quite literally—shed light on physical wonders. Interspersed throughout are spots to sit and linger, allowing the art and nature to make their full impression. Performers and musicians move mindfully through the Blockheide, offering displays of gentle elegance to attentive observers.
